tuesday meltdown mania

Today I would call meltdown mania, I lost track of the meltdowns after 5 or six, it started out with the vicks rub, the screws, then the easter egg baskets, the scriptures, the dried flowers, then the screw she found in the laundry basket, the juice, the book, and well by that time she was tired out and went down for a nap. After crying I think she forgot why she was crying to begin with. So while she got in her nap I got to clean the stove and get in 3 loads of laundry. Yesterday we un-clogged all the sinks so now the washer works much better emptying into the sink and it doesn't back up. well that is so far today we'll see what it holds once Nixon gets home once she is done with her food we'll go outside and get some energy out.

3-29-10 Poop Pee day

Well today was a monday,

and believe me it was a poopee day, literally and figuratively speaking. It started out with me and my benefits, every monday I request benefits, pain in the butt, but oh well Jobs aren't the easiest and this is what I do. Well I noticed on my account that there was an appeal for my decision from my ex-employer. To make a long story short, I had to speak to 5 different people at the state of MN, one from ADP and someone from TVI. No-one seemed to know what was going on, and didn't fully help me with my questions. I supposedly have a hearing with a judge and even though the documents show that TVI wanted to with-draw their appeal. it made no sense at all,so finally someone in appeals had said well just look at your account in a couple of days and it should go away??? Anyway just another way that someone's mistakes can really stress someone else out.

To go onto the day, once Nixon got home we went to the park, Meeka really enjoys this, and loves the slide. It's good for all of us to get out and get some exercise and out and about. Anyway on the way to the park, we came accross our neighbors and Meeka wanted them to come to and she started crying when they didn't. Once we got to the park she had a blast like always and didn't want to leave, it usually takes her meltdown to last 3 blocks, but this time she came across some more kids outside (which is happening more and more with the warm weather) and so she started playing with them and didn't want to leave, then she threw another fit all the way home.

Meeka finally got home we sat down, Nixon was watching some t.v. with Meeka, I thought he was watching her, but wasn't, anyway she has a tendency to put her hand down her bottom, well this time she was poopy and decided to share that with Daddy, she came over and tried to feed him her poop. Got it all over his shirt and I laughed uncontrollably. Anyway we had to clean her up, we got her ready for a bath, then seriously as soon as she got out of the bath, there was a mad dash for her little blue coach and while she was standing there she peed on the floor. It was just one of those days.

well it's been a long time I'm not very good at this whole thing, I keep telling Nixon to remind me to do this at night after Meeka goes to sleep.

This week was an eventful week, I must say I ABSOLUTELY love having Nixon work days, we've been able to go to the park afterwork, go out shopping, or go out to eat, we actually have a normal life and we see each other, good or bad ?? but it was really funny this week on Thu we went to Old Navy because we needed some summer clothes, all of us. So off we went, well lately Meeka has been just a handful in public, I tried going on Wed by myself with her and failed. She threw a fit and we had to leave, so determined not to give up, we went back on thursday and this time with daddy :) Anyway she discovered the escalator. Oh my well we went up and down the escalator about a dozen times, she thought it was some ride, and at this point anything to keep her happy and not throwing a tantrum is game in my book :) The sales associated started laughing at us because we kept on going in circles.

Well we got some good things, then ended up returning them on Friday, because we found better and cheaper at Target. Imagine that... While returning them she was good though.

Saturday was Christians birthday but before that we've been talking about getting Boxee or a blu ray player for upstairs. Well we finally broke down and got one and ordered Netflix. WAY COOL!! oh we also bought like my favorite movie The Princess and the Frog. I think now we've watched it around 4 times. I love the songs and really want to get the soundtrack. It's so cute to see her dance to the music in it.

Afterwards we all came home had a little nap then got ready to go to Buca, it was a good night, great food!! we had some leftovers for dinner today and also Meeka so it was a good day.

I have to remember to add last week we went to an Easter Egg scramble at the Edinborough park here in Edina. This indoor park is soo cool!! It cost $8 and she got to get easter eggs and run around in the park all day. We are definetly going back. She could go in the gym and all over the slides and the park and they had these bouncee gyms too. she had a blast and didn't want to go.

Today was a chill day (sunday) it was really nice NIxon took her for half the day and I got to get some good rest in, it was well needed. Afterwards we all bundled up and went to the park. It wasn't that cold but the wind was a bit. She loves the park down the road from us, actually when we leave she throws a full on fit for about 3 blocks then calms down, she thinks she's a big girl and tries to run around with the other kids, not quite there yet, but she loves being around the other children. She's a little shy at first but then warms up very quickly.
